Our Mixed Springtail Culture is the perfect choice if you want the benefits of several springtail species working together. Each generous 500cc culture contains a healthy blend of Tropical White, Yellow and Orange Springtails, supplied with a pouch of Frog Father Springtail Food to help establish and grow your colony.
Different springtail species occupy slightly different niches within a bioactive enclosure. Tropical Whites are extremely active and reproduce rapidly, Yellow Springtails are larger and easier to see, while Orange Springtails provide another hardworking clean-up species that adds diversity to your microfauna. Together they create an excellent all-round clean-up crew for almost any tropical setup.
