Description
6 Creeping Terrarium Plant Bundle
A mixed collection of six small creeping, trailing, shingling or low-growing tropical plants selected from Frogfather’s current stock.
What’s included?
Each bundle contains six individually selected plants. Depending on availability these may include Marcgravia, creeping Begonia, Selaginella, jewel orchids, Procris and other compact tropical species. Exact species vary and the photographs are representative rather than a guarantee of the exact plants supplied.
Growing conditions
Because this is a mixed-species bundle, one care sheet cannot provide an exact humidity or temperature requirement for every plant. Most plants selected for this bundle favour humid terrarium conditions, filtered/indirect light, moist but freely draining rooting media and useful air movement.
We have therefore removed the blanket 70–100% RH requirement. Use the appearance and growth of the individual plants to guide watering, ventilation and placement.
Animal-enclosure use
These plants can provide cover and visual structure in suitable amphibian, gecko and invertebrate enclosures. Plant suitability should still be assessed against the intended animal and plants should be prepared to minimise pesticide/fertiliser residues before use with sensitive amphibians.
Bioactive wording corrected
Springtails and isopods may contribute to decomposition in planted substrates, but they do not automatically “keep the substrate healthy” or guarantee faster plant establishment. Plant growth depends mainly on the plant itself, light, moisture, root conditions and temperature.
