Magnetic Vivarium Glass Cleaner

A two-part magnetic cleaning tool with a microfibre contact surface, designed to move the inner cleaner across vivarium glass from outside the enclosure.

What it can help remove

Suitable for routine wiping of light water marks, algae film and general surface residue. Heavily mineralised limescale or established deposits may require a different cleaning method.

Claims corrected

The previous listing said the tool quickly “eliminates water spots, mould, algae” and keeps the vivarium pristine. A physical cleaner can remove some visible surface material, but it does not treat the underlying cause of mould/algae and cannot guarantee a streak-free or pristine result on every glass surface.

Animal safety during use

• Do not trap an animal between the inner cleaner and glass.
• Keep the inner magnetic part under direct control; do not leave it loose in the enclosure.
• Inspect the cleaning face for grit or hard particles before use to reduce the risk of scratching glass.
• Keep strong magnets away from sensitive electronics and follow any equipment manufacturer’s warnings.
• If cleaning around amphibians, avoid introducing detergents or residues unless they are specifically appropriate for the animal enclosure and have been fully removed before livestock contact.

Cleaning

Rinse the microfibre/contact surface after use and allow it to dry. Replace the cloth/contact material if it becomes damaged or holds embedded grit.
