A three-part printable vent design intended to clamp a separately supplied mesh insert into a suitable plastic culture tub or enclosure.

Security wording corrected
The previous listing described the finished vent as providing “escape-proof ventilation” and as suitable across isopods, amphibians, reptiles and feeder insects. The STL design alone cannot guarantee either claim.
Escape resistance depends on the mesh aperture, printed tolerances, installation, enclosure material, lid fit and size of the inhabitants. A mesh that retains adult isopods may not retain springtails, fruit flies or newly metamorphosed amphibians.
Before animal use
After printing and installation, inspect all edges, gaps and mesh joins. Test the completed enclosure against the smallest animal or feeder that must be contained. Do not rely on the product description as a substitute for that physical check.
Printing responsibility
The person printing the files controls the polymer, pigments/additives, print settings and surface quality. Finished-part suitability therefore depends on those choices as well as the design.
