The Vicentei Red Dart Frog is widely considered one of the most striking and desirable dart frogs available in captivity. Originating from the forests of Isla Vicentei, Panama, this species is famous for its rich crimson red body and bold presence, making it a standout species in any planted vivarium.
Unlike many dart frogs with complex patterns, Oophaga vicentei relies on pure, vivid colouration to make an impression. In a lush bioactive enclosure with moss, bromeliads and tropical foliage, these frogs look absolutely incredible.
Because of their limited geographic range in the wild, Vicentei Reds are rarely available in the hobby, and when they do appear they are usually snapped up quickly by serious collectors.

A properly planted enclosure allows these frogs to display natural behaviours and colours.

Due to their rarity, Vicentei Red Dart Frogs are only offered occasionally. Availability is extremely limited and once sold they may not be available again for some time.
