An established planted 50 × 50 × 60 cm vivarium with the lighting, automated misting, environmental monitoring, live plants and microfauna described in the listing.
Established, not “mature ecosystem from day one”
The enclosure has been running before sale, allowing plants and microfauna time to establish. We have removed “immediately ready for dart frogs”, “mature ecosystem from day one”, “excellent humidity stability” and the implication that six to twelve months of waiting is universally required for every new build.
After transport and installation, run and observe the enclosure before adding animals. Confirm drainage, misting, temperature, humidity trends, ventilation, lighting and equipment reliability.
Species suitability
The dimensions and layout may suit selected terrestrial dart frogs, but they are not automatically “perfect for” all D. tinctorius, D. auratus, D. leucomelas or Ameerega. Final suitability depends on species, adult size, social arrangement and usable enclosure structure.
Bioactive limits
Established springtails, isopods and worms can contribute to decomposition, but do not make the enclosure self-sustaining or remove the need for normal feeding, cleaning, plant management and water control.
