Pre-Vented BraPlast Tub – 3L
A clear 3-litre BraPlast tub supplied with two stainless-steel mesh vents already installed.
Suitable uses
Can be configured for selected isopods, millipedes, beetles, roaches, feeder insects or other invertebrate cultures where the ventilation, substrate and security match that species.
Escape-proof wording corrected
The previous title and copy said the tub provides airflow “without risk of escape”. No vented container should be guaranteed escape-proof without checking the actual mesh aperture, lid fit and smallest life stage of the inhabitants.
Inspect both installed vents and the lid perimeter before use. Very small springtails, feeder flies or hatchling invertebrates may require finer containment than larger isopods.
Humidity wording corrected
A secure-fitting lid and mesh vents influence moisture loss, but do not automatically “maintain humidity”. Final conditions depend on substrate depth, vent area, temperature, room humidity and how much water is added.
