Description
Flightless Fruit Fly Cultures – Drosophila melanogaster
Drosophila melanogaster are the smallest commonly used fruit flies and are ideal for thumbnail dart frogs, froglets, and freshly metamorphosed amphibians. Their size makes them perfect when prey needs to be taken easily without overwhelming smaller animals.
Choose your culture stage
- New culture – freshly started and needs time before producing usable numbers.
- Intermediate culture – developing well and close to production.
- Mature culture – producing now or imminently; ideal when you need flies immediately.
