❓ FAQ – Isopod Reproduction Mix
Do I still need leaf litter if I use this?
Yes. Leaf litter and rotting wood are essential. This formula is a supplement — not a replacement — and provides the minerals and protein needed for breeding and moulting.
Is this safe in dart frog or reptile vivariums?
Absolutely. It contains no copper, preservatives or harmful additives — 100% safe for dart frogs, geckos, amphibians and their eggs.
How quickly will I notice results?
You should start seeing more gravid females and mancae within 2–4 weeks if moisture, temperature and habitat are correct.
Can I use this with Cubaris, Zebra, or Porcellio species?
Yes — this blend was tested across multiple genera including Cubaris, Porcellio, Armadillidium and Dwarf Whites.
Can I overfeed?
Yes — only feed what can be eaten within 24–48 hours to avoid mites or mould. Small amounts work best.

This is a supplementary isopod culture food. Unless a specific controlled trial of this formulation is cited, claims about increased reproduction, juvenile survival or moulting should be understood as formulation aims and Frogfather culture experience rather than experimentally demonstrated outcomes.
