The Frogfather has been making local headlines! With features in West Bridgford Live and the Nottingham Post, it is lovely to share the story behind our Nottingham business and introduce more people to the frogs that started it all.

From a birthday present to The Frogfather

It all began with my mum’s 70th birthday. After years of buying her frog ornaments, we decided to try something different: two real red-eyed tree frogs.

Those frogs needed a home, so I built them a tropical vivarium. One miniature rainforest led to another, and what began as a family present grew into a passion for amphibians, planted enclosures and the tiny ecosystems that support them.

Today, I keep and work with more than 30 species of frog. The Frogfather brings together that enthusiasm for keeping and breeding amphibians with practical equipment, bioactive supplies and accessible care information.
