Don’t Miss September’s Frog Delivery – Bookings Close 28th August!

Bookings close 28th August for September dart frog delivery with The FrogFather logo and jungle vivarium background.”

If you’re waiting on dart frogs, tadpoles, or other live amphibians, here’s the big one: bookings for September deliveries close on 28th August. Once that date passes, you’ll be waiting until October.

We use Ridgeway Couriers, a trusted DEFRA-registered service that specialises in transporting reptiles and amphibians safely across the UK. That means your frogs arrive stress-free, legally transported, and in the best condition possible. But Ridgeway doesn’t run every day – they follow a set nationwide schedule, and that’s why knowing these cut-off dates is so important.

Ridgeway Courier 2025 booking deadlines and delivery run dates for dart frog transport across the UK.

Why Do Delivery Dates Close Early?

Ridgeway runs take around 10–12 days to complete. They can’t just pick up and drop off on demand – instead, they plan the entire route across the UK in advance. That’s why bookings always close about a week before a run starts.

For September 2025, the courier run begins on the 8th September, but bookings close 28th August. That’s the hard deadline.

👉 So if you want dart frogs, dark frogs, or tadpoles delivered in September, you need to place your order before 28th August.

How It Works

  1. Place your frog order with us before the booking deadline.
  2. We reserve you a courier slot with Ridgeway.
  3. Ridgeway sends out delivery schedules about a week before the run begins.
  4. Your frogs are delivered safely, door-to-door, when the courier reaches your area.

It’s smooth, reliable, and saves you the stress of trying to figure out logistics yourself.

Why Do My Dart Frogs Hide All the Time? (And How to See Them More Often)

🐸 Ever feel like your frogs have vanished into thin air?

Post Copy:
If your dart frogs spend all day hiding, you’re not alone. In the wild they live under rainforest canopies, weaving through leaf litter and bromeliads – not basking in bright light.

The fix? 🌿 More planting, natural hides, soft lighting, and the right temps (22–26°C is the sweet spot). Give them security, and you’ll see them hopping around much more often.
